Hello. I’m 45 used-to-be fit; triathlons, weight training, snowboarding, before kids, business, and multiple surgeries from injuries. I’ve let myself go a bit and promised myself I’d get strong again. Right now I’m recovering from ankle surgery and want to use this time as an opportunity to build upper body while I off my feet for next 6 weeks. Use this as a kick start to get healthy again.
Thanks in advance!
Any suggestions?

It would be a good time to dial in on your diet. plan your meals and set yourself up for your caloric deficit. good luck with your recovery.

I’m a fairly new runner that just started strength training this year. I’ve really enjoyed working on pull-ups, chin-ups, dips; Simple and difficult, no added weight, works on posture and grip, heavy consequences for overeating. ✌️

definitely agree about diet, been there myself with two kids. running doesn't really work out for me. and with your ankle injury I'd say core and upper body

I’m in a similar situation. There a lots of pre-made upper body workout on here. Pick one if you don’t want to make your own and set some small goals. Good luck.
